I’m reading a book about change, ironically called ‘How to Change – The science of getting from where you are to where you want to be’ by Katy Milkman. It’s about the science behind change- what works and doesn’t work and why. I’m only just finishing the 1st chapter now which is about getting started with a clean slate. This is an ideal time to pursue the change you want. A fresh start is a significant date like a birthday, anniversary, the new year- any date that makes a mark of some significance. A meaningful life event can also trigger a need for change and a clean slate.

A clean slate is either real or the impression of one; it will relegate your failures or habits to the past a bit more easily than at some random day or date and in turn, your enthusiasm about the future becomes more powerful. It will allow you to have a more expansive picture of how your life will be when those changes take effect.

The new year is upon us and people have their New Year’s Resolutions all lined up; determined to make changes in their life, they have the best intentions, enthusiasm and excitement for change. There are other factors (which I haven’t read about yet) that help us on our quest but this is the beginning, the fresh start. Unfortunately, we don’t always succeed; most New Year’s Resolutions fail after a few months, if that. Yet we still continue to want to move forward, to be our new and improved selves.

Utilizing the clean slate method along with hypnotherapy is an ideal way to create change in your life, to modify behavior and shift habits’ negative energy to positive. The conscious mind is focused on the change goal so you’re already on the way to success. When it’s augmented with hypnotherapy, it’s much more effective and effortless and we can achieve our goals with a higher success rate than just sheer will and determination. Imagine effortlessly making changes that stick. This is what can happen when you employ hypnotherapy with your goals. It will help to alleviate some of those pesky subconscious blocks whenever you attempted change in the past, only to revert back to the same old patterns in the future. Both minds working together is a dynamic force in which to achieve your goals. I recommend it highly, with me of course.
