Hypnotherapy Sessions for Anxiety and Fears

People every day and everywhere experience the crippling effects of fear and anxiety. The ability to experience these two emotions is necessary for our survival, and they actually serve to protect us. To harness the power of these two emotions will actually drive us toward what we want as opposed to away.

Fear and anxiety are intimately related, rooted in the same psychology, and have similar consequences. To get to the essence of anxiety, start with the anatomy of fear.

Fear is a basic instinct, and our survival depends on it. When we experience the sense that danger is imminent, we automatically go to a place of fear or anxiety. That danger includes anything that is unknown. We can experience a body-wide response that can be automatically triggered. This puts the body into a fight or flight response upon detecting an oncoming threat.

In addition to fighting or fleeing, we may also enter freeze mode. This can be overwhelming, and that’s where fear of failure, fear of success, and procrastination can manifest as a result of fear. All these responses come directly from the subconscious because its prime directive is to protect you. In Hypnosis, we can address the subconscious and its natural responses.

Anxiety is a state of uneasiness and distress about future uncertainties, apprehension, and worry. An intense fear or dread lacking an ambiguous cause or a specific threat. A chronic state of alertness and helplessness that can affect both, your physical and mental health.

Both fear and anxiety are intimately related. Common symptoms of anxiety include restlessness, irritability, difficulty concentrating, muscle tension, and sleep disturbances. Prolonged anxiety can eventually lead to chronic pain and stress, negatively affecting overall health. These anxiety symptoms can be debilitating, making functioning in our daily lives very challenging.

Fortunately, hypnosis has shown great promise in helping individuals manage anxiety effectively. Hypnosis allows us to reframe our thoughts and beliefs by accessing the subconscious mind through a relaxed and focused state.

During a hypnosis session, a qualified hypnotist guides you into a deep state of relaxation. In this state, your subconscious becomes more receptive to hypnotic suggestions and positive affirmations.

What is hypnosis and how does it work?

Hypnosis is a state of focused attention and relaxation that allows the subconscious mind to be more receptive to suggestions. For anxiety treatment, hypnosis can help identify and address the underlying causes of anxiety, reframe negative thought patterns, and promote relaxation and stress reduction.

By consistently visualizing positive outcomes and reactions, you can gradually replace old patterns with new ones that promote resilience and inner strength.

What to expect from a hypnotherapy session

During a hypnotherapy session, you can expect a safe and supportive environment where we will work together to address the root causes of your fears and anxieties. You will enter a deeply relaxed state of mind (hypnotic trance), guided by my gentle and soothing voice. Together, we will explore the underlying reasons and identify any negative thought patterns that may be contributing to your fears.

Through the power of hypnosis, we will tap into your subconscious mind, accessing the areas of the brain where many of these deep-seated feelings reside. During the session, I will guide you through visualization exercises and imagery designed to create a sense of safety and calm within you.

As you continue to relax deeper into the hypnotic trance, you may experience a sense of detachment from your everyday worries and concerns. This state allows for greater receptivity to positive suggestions and facilitates the process of rewiring your brain for resilience.

Sessions are provided online via Zoom, allowing you to participate from the comfort of your own home. Before the session begins, we will discuss your specific goals and concerns, ensuring that our time together is tailored to your needs
